Daily Union (Monthly, Korea News Newspaper) Ju-un Journalist | Moon Dong-kwon ,Shinhan Card, the No. 1 card company in the domestic credit card industry with 14 million members, experienced a payment system error, causing inconvenience to customers.

This is the first error in four months since September 2023, and it was restored soon, but due to Shinhan Card's notorious inkling disorder, which is the No. 1 in the industry, complaints are brewing that system stability is the "last place."

Moon Dong-kwon ,  Shinhan Card said there was an error in its payment system, including physical check cards, Samsung Pay, and online payments, starting around 9:08 p.m. on January 26, 2024.

However, contrary to Shinhan Card's explanation, the infamous system malfunction occurred at around 8 p.m. on the 26th, and the recovery was reportedly completed at around 10:30 p.m. due to a failure in online and offline card payments.
